Tattoo Battle Booth takes place daily starting at 12 NOON! 

Get Ready for Battle Booth at Hell City Phoenix, Arizona and Columbus, Ohio 2026! The Tattoo Battle Booth At Hell City Tattoo Festival 2026 is a resurrection of head to head tattoo competitions returning to Hell City. The Tattoo Battle Booth is located inside the Hell City ballroom near the mainstage. The daily voting will take place at this year's Hell City Tattoo Fest with the audience casting their votes for their favorite tattoo that was done in the Battle Booth and essentially crowning the tattoo Battle Booth Winner at Hell City 2026 in both Phoenix, Arizona as well as Columbus, Ohio. 

The last wars at Hell City was Guy Aitchison VS Aaron Cain during the “Tattoo Wars” TLC television series that filmed at Hell City in 2007. Now, Hell City is adding their own modern spin, pitting two different artists against each other every day with different styles to see who takes the “Battle Booth Trophy” home.

ARTIST DETAILS:

  • Tattoo Battle Booth will take place in a separate booth near the main stage.
  • Battle Booth brings back friendly classic head-to-head tattoo competition format.
  • Artists are allowed into booth at 10 AM for setup, tattooing begins at 12 noon.
  • Tattooing will end precisely at scheduled times each festival day.
  • Artists may charge clients their normal rates and fees.
  • Artists will participate in brief interviews before, during, or after tattooing.
  • Each Tattoo Battle will feature a theme, agreed upon by artists.
  • The HC crowd will cast ballot votes for their favorite tattoo.
  • Daily Battle Booth winners will receive the official Battle Booth Trophy for that day.

VOTING:

  • Voting will be done live through a ballot box.
  • One vote per person per day. One vote each day of Battle Booth.
  • Attendees crown a daily Battle Booth Winner at both Phoenix & Columbus.
  • The HC crowd will cast ballot votes for their favorite tattoo.

RULES:

  • Artists will participate in brief interviews before, during, or after tattooing.
  • Artists can charge your clients as normal, HC does not taking a cut at all.
  • The theme between the two artist will be determined between artists prior.
  • You will be allowed into early set up at 10 AM.
  • Tattooing begins directly at 12 noon.
  • All tattooing will end at different scheduled times each day of the festival.
  • The voting will be done using a ballot box with the crowd voting on their favorite.
  • Each Day Tattoo Battle Booth will be filmed for a YouTube series.

FILMING:

  • Each Day Tattoo Battle Booth will be filmed for a YouTube series.
  • Artists will participate in brief interviews before, during, or after tattooing.
  • By participating in Battle Booth, artists & clients hold Hell City Harmless.

As you may have seen, we’re currently producing “Tattoo Battle Booth” at Hell City. Our first six-episode season, “Let the Battles Begin,” will stream on YouTube, with future seasons—including a “Collab Season” already in the works.

We’re reaching out to select companies in the tattoo industry that we feel would be a great fit as commercial sponsors. Sponsors receive a 15–30 second commercial in each episode, plus their static company logo featured at the end of every episode.

• Full Season Sponsor: $1,000 — all 6 episodes (only $166 per episode)

• Single Episode Commercial: $400
